Dear Latin American Scholars:
I am writing in my capacity as Director of Graduate Programs at Berkeley Law School. As some of you know, Berkeley Law has a summer LLM program that allows students to earn a degree in two summers (10 weeks each summer). We have found that it works especially well for practicing lawyers who cannot take too much time off work. We have just finished the second year of the program and it has been a big success.
One area in which we would like to make an improvement is the representation of Latin America in the program. If you know any student interested in a US LLM this is the opportunity to consider applying. So far our students have been extremely happy with the program. I have attached an informational flyer, and there is lots of information on our website. I should add that the deadline on the flyer is Sept. 1, but we will be extending it to Oct. 1.
